Sunday Afternoon Show

16:00 on the Wishbone Stage!

Brian Frame

Fresh off a very successful show at Stendhal festival, we are extremely delighted to have nabbed Brian for this slot! Brian often mixes comedy with music, a combination KnockanStockan can’t resist. He’s had KS crew crying laughing when he’s not even half trying. Ladies & Gentlemen we give you Brian Frame.

Christina McMahon

Wild woman of the Mayo hinterland escaped relatively unscathed from “The Convent” having developed notions of coming to Dublin to be an actress and comedian. Blending her self deprecating sense of humour, social awkwardness and character voices; Christina gives her insight and observations about her life and her world as a Mayo immigrant in Dublin! She has been selected to perform at Electric Picnic as part of an all female comedy line-up this coming September. She has performed across Dublin and down “the country” in Donegal, Galway and Laois.

Jesse James

Jesse James was born in a strange and confusing land far, far away. French Canada. Never fully understanding the language or culture of the French Canadian. He packed his bags and moved to a place that seemed sane in comparison. Dublin, Ireland. His whole life Jesse had dreams of becoming a professional mixed martial arts fighter. But, after getting hit in the head one too many times, he lost his passion for fighting other grown men locked in a cage. He is now a stand up comedian and has performed across Dublin at clubs like The International comedy club, Hardy Har comedy, Camden Comedy, Meltdown comedy, The Ha Penny, Conscious Comedy, The Craic Shack, Jesters, clockwork door, and more.

John Kelly

John is a one liner comedian.

Conall Walsh

Conall Walsh is relatively new to the comedy scene, but well accustomed to being laughed at. It was in the Summer of 2017 that he decided to channel years of traumatic childhood derision into a standup routine. Since then he hasn’t looked back, performing in Dublin, Cork and Mullingar. Last March he came runner up in The Best New Act competition at the Bray Comedy Festival, an achievement that has eclipsed all other and has seen him described as “promising”.
