January 4, 2012A huge thank you to all who took part in the KnockanStockan 2011 Wrap Party (better late than never) at the Sweeney Mongrel on the 11th of last month.
Bands and fans alike, it was amazing to see so many of you out having the craic, all 3 floors packed to the rafters and everyone played a blinder!
Also another huge thank you to everyone involved in Seshtival which took place a week later on the 18th in Newbridge. Hosted by The Barley Mob and featuring some of the best bands around it was an amazing night by all accounts and it was great to see a few festivals (Rock An Oir, Booleigh Ska Festival and ourselves) coming together to help decorate and promote the night.
And one for the future – Plans are underway for a benefit gig to be held up in Ballyknockan in the New Year to help raise some much needed funds to repair some of the damage caused during the floods – the line-up will feature some of the bands who played last years festival, some local favorites and a special guest or two, so stay tuned for more information!!
