FAQ Questions:

Q. What if I don’t know any of the bands that are playing?

Definitely come to Knockanstockan then and you will know them when you leave! That is the whole beauty of Knockanstockan, you get to explore and discover some of the best talent that is unknown by most but is seriously good.

Q. I have a query about my ticket. Who do I contact?

Q. Can I bring my own beer?

Yes. but NO GLASS.

Q. Are there ATMS on-site?

No. The last ATMS are in Blessington village! There will be no cash-retrieving facility (laser or otherwise) anywhere on site.

Q. Will there be buses on Sunday Night after the last act?

Yes. Buses are scheduled to leave subject to demand from the Festival at 01.00 am on Sunday Night/Monday Morning.

Q. Do the Day Tickets mean I have to leave the festival when the arena closes?

Yes. A day ticket does not permit overnight camping.

Q. If I arrive in a Campervan do I have to have a Weekend Ticket?

Yes. Each person travelling in a Campervan must have a Weekend Camping Ticket as well as a Campervan ticket.

Q. Are there still Weekend Tickets Available? If so, how much are they?

Yes! Tickets are priced at just €75 for 3 Day’s including camping. Limited amount of Early Birds available from January at €55 excl booking fee.

Q. What’s the best way to get to Lacken, Blessington?

You can have a look at our Travel section on the website or for directions from anywhere in Ireland (wherever you are coming from) Simply click the google map on the travel page and hit directions and type in your location and google maps will give you step by step directions to the festival!

Q. Is there plug-in power in the campsite? Drinking water?

No plug-in power, and yes there will be drinking water available on site.

Q. If I won a ticket/pair if tickets.. how do I collect them?

If you won a ticket/tickets we will have your name listed and tickets wrapped. You will need PHOTO ID corresponding to your entrant name to collect them. These will be available for collection from 12pm on Friday.

Q. Is Family Camping close to the Car Park?

The car park is down the road and shuttle busses will pick you up and bring you to the festival site.

Q. What if I don’t want to camp, am I to be excluded from going to Knockanstockan?

Of course not, we’d still love you to come to the festival even if you don’t want to camp. You are free to stay elsewhere and come and go as you please. Camping is free & optional.

Q. I’m bringing my 8 year old son, does he need a ticket?

Knockanstockan is an Over 18 Event.
Photo ID will have to be presented if age is in question.

However, children under 12 are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a parent
(2 children max per ticket holding adult)
(13-17 year olds are not permitted, even when accompanied by an adult)

Q. Can I get a Camper-van Ticket?

Yes you can get a camper-van ticket for €30 through all ticket outlets but everyone staying in the camper-van will also need a full weekend camping ticket.

Q. Where and when is the Knockanstockan Music Festival on?

Knockanstockan will as always, be taking place in our friendly farmers land in
Lacken
Blessington
Co. Wicklow.

Dates are: Friday 27th July to Sunday 29th 2012
Campsite opens: 12.00pm Friday 27th.
